See How SC Ranked According to Education Week

Education Week, a national magazine devoted to education issues, published its annual Quality Counts report earlier this week. Not suprisingly, South Carolina students, according to the report’s findings, had a lower chance of success compared to their peers in other states.

The study took several factors into consideration ranging from family income level to high school graduation rate to postsecondary participation, to develop a “Chance of Success” index. To see how SC faired, check out the full report at www.edweek.org/media/ew/qc/2007/17shr.sc.h26.pdf
