Case Study: Special Needs Scholarships

Great video from the Institute for Justice about parents fighting for their children’s right to quality education.

While public schools are choosing to send special needs children to private schools in order to save money, when parents make such decisions they are seen as a threat.

  1. What a heartwarming story. The every day reality of this little girl ought to convince all of us to embrace comprehensive school choice.
But then it isn’t usually about children is it.

  2. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story.

We have similar stories right here in South

Carolina. The question is how many more lives

must be destroyed in the name of politics? Our

children are just as worthy as those in Arizona,

Florida & Georgia yet they are not offered the

same opportunities. Why should I, a parent

of a child that learns differently, and a native of

South Carolina, be forced to move across state

lines so my child can obtain a free & appropriate

education? Enough is enough! It’s time to pass

Parental School Choice in our state and stop the

unnecessary injustice so many families are

enduring. We will make sure our legislators

hear our stories this year and pray

they will make the right decision and vote for

our children not some political agenda.
